Optics Chair's Student Recruitment Efforts Mentioned in Article

Dr. Alexis Vogt, associate professor of engineering technologies and chair of MCC's optical systems technology program, was interviewed by Rochester Business Journal for an article on the evolution of the region's optics, photonics and imaging industries. The article appears in the March 16 issue.

She discussed fielding inquiries from employers like Google seeking to hire MCC graduates and the importance of a diversified workforce in these fast-growing sectors.
