TCC: Feb. 24 Conversation -- "Advancing Equity through Universal Design for Learning"

Please join us on Wednesday, February 24, for the first of three spring 2021 conversations centered on our theme of Committing to Equity-Minded Pedagogy. This theme began in fall with a look at some theory and concepts. This semester, we turn to practices.

Universal Design for Learning is a framework that seeks to reduce various barriers to learning, in an effort to meet the diverse needs of every student in the learning environment. Sound like a daunting task? Then please join us for a conversation that will allow us to share with each other the strategies that are already working well; offer clarification in the areas in which we’re struggling; and work collaboratively to create new strategies that meet the ever-changing needs of students.

April Daniels [TRS/ESOL] will lead the session. All faculty and professional staff are welcome.
