National Cyber Security Awareness Month
You've waited all year, and it's almost here! October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to raise awareness about the importance of cyber security.
In compliance with MCC's Cyber Security Awareness and Education Policy, all employee users will be required to complete training. The online SANS Securing the Human Cyber Security training modules will help you protect yourself, your family and the college from cyber-attacks and disclosure of sensitive information.
You can find the link to Cybersecurity Awareness Training on the myMCC "Tech" tab under Technology Links. To start using your security awareness training account, log in using your MCC email address and password.
The training consists of 16 mandatory training videos averaging less than 3 minutes in length. There is a short quiz after each to test your understanding. If you want to take them all in one sitting, it will take you less than an hour. (Total video length is 44:53 minutes.)

There are also 19 additional recommended training videos (totaling 54 minutes) that are available for you to take at your convenience.
