Associate Professor and martial artist Christopher Otero led a 2.5 hour self-defense seminar for residents of Canal Hall on Sunday night. Participants learned fundamentals of avoiding physical conflict, as well as basic defenses against wrist grabs, choke holds, and light-scale weapons.
