St. John Fisher College, MCC Partner on MBA Program

St. John Fisher College and MCC have entered into a new dual admission agreement, allowing students to complete three degrees in just five years.

Beginning this fall, MCC students can register for the new 2+2+1 master of business administration (MBA) program – which will require them to complete two years of prescribed coursework at MCC for an associate degree, and finish the remaining three years of coursework at Fisher to obtain their bachelor of science and MBA degrees. Although Fisher and MCC have a long history of collaboration providing opportunities to transfer students, this is the first of MCC’s dual admission agreements to include an MBA.

Fisher’s MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), an accreditation that represents a rigorous peer review of a school's practices against globally set standards. In 2009, Certified Professional Accounting (CPA) requirements for accounting undergraduates in New York State changed, and now require 150 credit hours of college coursework in order to take the licensing exam. This new program satisfies that requirement for accounting students.
