It is that time of year again where furniture amazingly appears in the hallways and alcoves of every building on campus. Discarded furniture becomes a very serious issue when it starts blocking hallways and exit ways. It then becomes a life safety issue and is a violation of the New York State Fire Code.
If you need to have furniture removed because it is no longer needed, do not place it in the hall! Please contact the Shipping and Receiving Department at ext. 3205 or via email to Eric Hanson, Ehanson@monroecc.edu <mailto:Ehanson@monroecc.edu> and removal will be scheduled as time permits."
