Drumright Earns Ph.D.


William Drumright, History Instructor in the Department of Anthropology/History/Political Science/Sociology, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on March 16 at the University of Tennessee/Knoxville.  With the fulfillment of this requirement he has completed the course of study for his Ph.D., and he will receive his degree at the university's doctoral hooding ceremony on May 6.  Drumright's dissertation is entitled, "A River for War, a Watershed to Change: The Tennessee Valley Authority During World War II."
