Flexible Spending Open Enrollment for 2015 Due Now


Now is the time to enroll in your Flexible Spending Account for 2015.  Open enrollment is during the month of November, 2014.  If you had a Flex Spending Account in 2014, it DOES NOT automatically roll over into 2015.  Please complete the attached form to enroll, or you may get a form from the Human Resources Office.  If you have never had a Flexible Spending Account before, you may now start one for the new year. 

A Flexible Spending Account allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars for out-of-pocket expenses related to health, dental, vision, dependent care, and parking and transit costs. Beginning with the 2013 plan year, MCC allows employees to roll over up to $500 of unused flexible spending funds into the next year. 

Our flexible spending administrator has changed their name to Lifetime Benefit Solutions.  The 2015 enrollment form is attached, along with claim forms for both Medical and Dependent Care.  The medical claim form can also be used for parking and transit expenses.  These forms will also be available in HR online forms and documents in myMCC.  MCC’s flex plan comes with the option for Automatic Claims Transfer.  If you check that you want ATC on your enrollment form, you can avoid having to complete claim forms for medical expenses, as they will automatically be processed by Lifetime Benefit Solutions.    

Please turn in your completed Flexible Spending Enrollment Form to the Human Resources Office no later than November 30, 2014.  Forms turned in after that date might not be accepted.  Feel free to contact the HR Office at 292-2048 with any questions.
