Weather permitting, MCC Night with the Rochester Red Wings is TONIGHT, Wednesday, Aug. 31. You can still purchase discount tickets for $4.50 -- online at https://redwings.bonzidev.com with our group password “mcc” until noon (for pick up at the box office); or at the Frontier Field box office.
More than 150 alumni, faculty, staff, trustees and their families are expected. The line-up is exciting:
* Ceremonial first pitch thrown by MCC President Tom Flynn
* MCC Alumni Hall of Famers, Sports Hall of Famers and student leaders to carry oversized American flag during the singing of the National Anthem
* Singing of “God Bless America” during the seventh inning stretch by MCC alumna Stacey LaFountain '05
* A free Tim Redding bobblehead doll featured in his MCC uniform to the first 2,000 fans. (Tim Redding, a professional baseball player, is an MCC alumnus.)
*A display honoring MCC alumni
* MCC prizes
* And much more
Pre-game festivities begin at 6:40 p.m. Game time is 7:05 p.m.
If the remnants of Hurricane Katrina cause Red Wings officials to cancel the game before it begins, MCC Night with the Rochester Red Wings will be held Thursday, Sept. 1.
