MCC's Homeland Security Management Institute is offering a new one-day seminar exploring identity theft.

WHEN: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2005

WHERE: Public Safety Training Facility, Rochester

Identity Theft, the impersonation of a victim for the purpose of financial or other personal gain, will be explored in a new one-day seminar. Topics for discussion include determining risk, what to do if you become a victim, managing passwords, covering your Internet footprints, identifying risky behavior, configuring a firewall, and protecting your computer from hackers.
