Facilities' vehicle on TV

13WHAM interviewed Paul Pfenninger, auto mechanic at MCC, about a vehicle he and his team retrofitted to pick up trash around the Brighton campus. The video shows the vehicle in operation -- Michael Wichtowski, a motorized equipment operator at MCC, is behind the wheel. The story appeared in 13WHAM’s 5 p.m. news broadcast:

Rochester, N.Y. - A new vehicle is turning heads on the MCC campus. See it and you'll know why.

It's part car, part trash collector. The previous trash collector left workers exposed to the elements. So, workers came up with their own design to perfectly fit their needs.

“In today's world money is tight, so we decided to enhance our help working in something that suited our needs,” said MCC employee Paul Pfenninger.
Trash pick-up on the MCC campus is a big job.  With this vehicle the job is quicker and safer.  Simply get in and drive!
