Celtic Society and Phi Theta Kappa to screen ONCE

Please join Celtic Society and Phi Theta Kappa for a screening and discussion of ONCE.

Set in Dublin, an Irish busker (played by Irish musician Glen Hansard) meets a Czech immigrant who sells flowers (played by musician Markéta Irglová). Over the course of one week, the two become friends and musical collaborators. ONCE offers an insightful exploration of the creative process, as well as the relationship that exists between personal experience and creativity.

The screening will take place on Monday, 12 November at 6. p.m. in 12-229. A discussion and refreshments will follow.

Celtic Society’s purpose is to raise awareness of the Celtic Nations (Brittany, Cornwall, Galicia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales) and diaspora. It aims to share and celebrate Celtic culture with the college community.

Celtic Society welcomes all students, faculty, and employees, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds.
