Congratulations!
On behalf of the English and Philosophy Department, the Student Awards Committee would like to congratulate Lacey Pruitt Thomas for winning third place in the League for Innovation in the Community College's 2013 National Literary Competition! Her poem “Phylogeny” placed first in our spring contest and third in the national competition. Her poem will be published in the League’s Annual Student Literary Awards Booklet due out this fall. This is the third year in a row our MCC students have placed at the national level.
