Community Fridays for a Cause - March 6, 2015

Our next Community Fridays for a Cause is Friday, March 6, 2015.

The March of Dimes was established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938 to fight polio.  Through the years the mission focus shifted to premature birth and birth defects.  This agency helps moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies, sharing best practices in perinatal health and helping improve birth outcomes where the needs are the most urgent.  If something goes wrong, they offer information and comfort to families.  They do research on the problems that threaten our babies and work on preventing them.

Show your support for the March of Dimes and MCC’s commitment to the community by making a generous donation, in exchange for the opportunity to dress casually.  Casual dress can be defined in a variety of ways, please check with your department leadership to define parameters acceptable for your office.  We encourage MCC gear and school colors whenever appropriate.

Donations will be collected in each department and donation envelopes are being delivered.  All checks should be made out to the March of Dimes.  Please bring the donation envelopes to Jodee Biller in the Controller’s Office, 6-110 by 4:00 pm on Friday.  If you are not located at the Brighton Campus, please call extension 2104 to make arrangements for the envelopes to be delivered to the Brighton Campus.

Thank you in advance for your support!
