This webinar will offer some insights into opportunities beyond the most frequented countries in the Western Hemisphere, as there are many awards available that applicants may not consider that offer rich potential for collaboration. Program staff will also discuss the application process, provide guidance on writing a successful application and highlight examples of successful projects and exciting scholar accomplishments of recent years.

The Fulbright U.S. Scholar program to the Western Hemisphere offers over 60 award opportunities for 2017-18, including four Distinguished Chair awards, 25 Flex opportunities, six postdoctoral awards, and a regional, multi-country opportunity. All Disciplines opportunities are also available in most countries.

Access these opportunities via our Catalog of Awards, and come ready with questions for our live Q&A. Attendees are also welcome to send questions in advance of the webinar to <mailto:westhem@iie.org>  using the subject line: "Western Hemisphere Webinar Questions."

Time conflict? The webinar will be recorded and archived online within five business days of the air date.
