On Wednesday, April 24 at noon, Student Support Services will host a workshop called “Becoming a U.S. Citizen.” All are welcome to attend this free workshop, which will be held in the Warshof Conference Center Empire Room (Building 3, Room 209). Topics will include: the benefits of becoming a U.S. citizen; how to become a U.S. citizen; Rochester area people, classes, and online resources to help you become a U.S. citizen and where to find them; and where to access low or no-cost legal assistance for immigrants. The workshop will be presented by Nathan Thayer of Catholic Family Center.
