Bringing Out the Best Results in the Most Challenged Students


A Northern Virginia Community College study has found that students who scored lowest on pre-tutoring tests and then received sustained tutoring were more likely to complete an increasingly challenging writing curriculum.  These students also averaged higher semester GPAs than other students in the study.  Read more in the May issue of the League for Innovation in the Community College’s “Learning Abstracts” at https://www.league.org/blog/post.cfm/bringing-out-the-best-results-in-the-most-challenged-students.
