Happy Birthday [pause] Harold Pinter Lecture

The LeRoy V. Good Library (Brighton Campus) will be hosting a lecture tomorrow Wednesday, October 10, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Professor Jim McCusker will be speaking on “Happy Birthday [pause] Harold Pinter,” a celebration of the Nobel Prize-winning playwright's contribution to theatre. A reading and discussion of Pinter's recently rediscovered sketch Umbrellas will also be explored. Join us for some pinteresque silence and menacing pauses. The lecture will be located on the 4th floor of the library, outside of room 2-452.

Professor McCusker is an adjunct associate professor for MCC's English/Philosophy Department. He is a member of the International Harold Pinter Society and has facilitated numerous discussions of Pinter's work, including The Homecoming at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada and Apart from That here at MCC.
