Spectrum News Highlights MCC's Spring Semester Preparations

In the Spectrum News segment "Monroe Community College Prepares for Upcoming Spring Semester," Interim President Dr. Kate Douglas highlights how MCC is listening to students and responding to their needs for support and flexibility as we prepare for the spring semester.

Offering CircleIn and conducting the "HyFlex" pilot* are examples of services from which students will benefit this spring. Reporter Phillip Boudreaux interviewed Dr. Douglas at the Downtown Campus for the January 12-13 segment.

Government and Community Relations thanks Dr. Douglas for her time and those faculty members and others who are making the HyFlex pilot possible.

* MCC's HyFlex courses make it possible for students -- at their convenience and choice on a daily basis -- to participate either online or in person in ways that lead to equivalent learning outcomes. Students can come to campus and sit in a classroom. They can log in at the same time, see the instructor and interact. Or they can log in at a different time, go back and view the lecture.
