MCC's Common Read

MCC's Common Read Committee selected a book for students, faculty, and staff to read that explores current issues important to the global community. Join that exploration and read the book that will enable you to have meaningful conversations with your colleagues and students throughout the year. The Common Read experience works to provide a catalyst for community conversation, connects students to their peers and faculty, and importantly, establishes a culture of reading among our students. You are invited to join in this common intellectual activity!

The College Common Read is Spare Parts: Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the American Dream by Joshua Davis. Attached is a copy of the brochure that highlights the many opportunities to engage in book discussions, meet both Oscar Vazquez,(featured in the book), and the author, Joshua Davis.
