The deadline is approaching for entries in the 2013 Alan B. Shaw Memorial Essay Award. The award is open to currently enrolled MCC students and the winner will receive a certificate and $150 cash prize! This year’s essay topic is “The Art of Companionship: How an Animal Changed My Life.” The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 12, 2013.
