SALT is a free, online resource that helps students finance a higher education, manage their money and student loans. Monroe Community College has collaborated with American Student Assistance to offer this program free of charge for all students and recent alumni. Current students will be sent an e-mail providing details and instructions for registering with SALT. Activating their SALT membership allows them take advantage of features such as:
* Keeping track of their student loans
* Loan advice from SALT's expert counselors
* Learn how to budget and manage their money wisely
* Find out why credit and their credit report is so important
* Find scholarships to help pay for their higher education
* Assist in finding internships and jobs to help start their career
Please remind students to check their MCC email in the coming days for a message from SALT containing their invitation to join.
