TOPIC: Academies: Looking Forward with Starfish

Starfish is a Title III initiative to implement an early alert system here at MCC, designed to support student success and retention. Starfish allows campus faculty and staff to offer targeted interventions for students who may be experiencing academic, financial, or personal difficulties.
Dr. Larry Dugan is the Director of E-Learning and a member of the Starfish implementation team. During this session, Dr. Dugan will discuss what Starfish is, how it will be used, and provide updates on Phase I of Starfish at MCC.
