Next 100 Days to Innovation Project Underway

The College’s third 100 Days to Innovation project has been selected and is underway. Entitled "Web Template Implementation," the project kicked off in early December and is co-sponsored by College and Community Relations and Educational Technology Services. The project leads are Jeff Bartkovich and Cynthia Cooper; the project manager is Colleen Brennan-Barry.

"Web Template Implementation" will explore ways we can efficiently transition current existing Web pages and content into the College's official Web design. Currently the Web pages on www.monroecc.edu exist in a variety of designs; by the end of this project, we will have established workflows, processes and timelines to move existing www.monroecc.edu content into the official Web templates.

The project team is currently in the final programming stages of creation for the new Web templates; the design of these templates has previously been shared with the college community over the last academic year. We intend to test the process of transitioning the content to the templates in early January and report back to the College community in mid-January on this test phase. Once the templates have been finished and the conversion process defined, the 100 Days project will necessarily become a high priority for the remainder of the project’s duration (through April 22). We will keep you posted on milestones and achievements as the process develops. Watch the MCC Daily Tribune for updates.
