Kudos to our TRS Mathematics Adjunct Faculty

In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Math Committee of the ESOL/TRS Department would like to send out a message of gratitude to our TRS Math Adjunct Faculty.

Our adjunct colleagues have gone above and beyond this semester, in an already trying time. To name just a few of the ways our adjunct faculty have proven invaluable this semester, more than ever, they have:

- Transitioned to a new, single course model that combines two levels of developmental coursework;

- Taken part in the pilot of an OER platform that has collectively saved their students thousands of dollars in textbook expenses;

- Launched and taught TRS coursework fully online, through the SUNY Online initiative;

- Adapted to teaching remotely, mastering zoom capabilities, and Blackboard features;

- Overcome all of the hurdles, bumps, and roadblocks that continue to emerge through all of the above!

Despite all of the challenges, our TRS Math Adjunct Faculty remain fully dedicated to supporting their students, and for that, we can all be grateful. Kudos to you and thank you for all of the hard work that continues to result in student success!
