Jackson Katz at DCC on April 30th!


Internationally-recognized and leading anti-violence, anti-sexism educator, Jackson Katz, will be giving two presentations at MCC on Wednesday, April 30, 2008.  Katz is best known for his documentary Tough Guise: Violence, the Media and the Crisis in Masculinity (2000) and was last at MCC in 1994.  He also recently published the book The Macho Paradox: Why Some Men Hurt Women and What All Men Could Do About It (2006). 

His presentations will both be on April 30th on our Damon City Campus.  Both presentations are free:

4:00pm – 5:00pm workshop for MCC students, faculty, staff and invited guests only
Room #4151 DCC

 
7:00pm – public lecture for the entire college and Rochester communities with book signing to follow
1st floor of the Sibley Building
