SUNY General Education Update

In preparation for priority advisement and registration which begins on March 15, a supply of the MCC 2010-11 SUNY General Education Course Plan is being distributed to department chairs.  Additional paper copies are available from either the Brighton or Damon Academic Advisement Centers.  It is also available on the web at:  <<https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/counsel/aaa/GEreq.htm>> or through the A-Z Index/S/SUNY General Education.  Any course additions approved during the year will be posted in italics to the online version of the document.  Please note that in accordance with “Amendments to General Education Requirements” effective Fall 2010 students should be encouraged to complete seven of the ten knowledge and skill areas and must include Mathematics and Basic Communication.
