Please be informed state law was recently passed that permits a temporary retirement incentive for public employees. This gives MCC the option to grant this incentive retirement benefit to our employees.
Human Resources, along with Vice President Heze Simmons and Legal Counsel Diane Cecero, are working diligently to do a complete analysis of this situation for the President. Please be assured all eligible employees will receive communication through Human Resources at an appropriate time.
We anticipate having our analysis complete by midsummer and a recommendation will be provided to the President. We will continue to communicate through MCC DAILY TRIBUNE announcements.
