20th Annual Sports Hall of Fame Dinner


On Friday, Jan. 30, 2004 Monroe Community College will host its 20th annual Sports Hall of Fame dinner. This year the Athletic Department will induct Nancy Hackett, Tim Redding, and Dr. Susan Salvador.
 
Hackett, principal of Harley Middle School, will be recognized as a former MCC softball coach who coached her team to NJCAA national tournaments twice in her four years as head coach. Tim Redding, a former baseball standout who currently pitches for the Houston Astros, will be inducted as an intercollegiate athlete. Dr. Susan Salvador, vice president, Student Services, will receive a special award for her continued support of MCC Athletics.
 
Cocktails will be served at 5:30 pm and dinner will follow at 6:00 pm. Tickets for the event will be on sale at the MCC Campus Center Service Desk for $18 per person. For more information, please contact Lisa LaDolce at x2830.
