Skunk Hour: A Creative Reading Series -- Friday, Feb. 4th

On Friday, February 4, from 12-12:50, Maria Brandt (English/Philosophy) and Tony Leuzzi (also English/Philosophy) will read their original work for the first Skunk Hour of the Spring 2005 term. This event will take place in the Black Box Theater (4-145). Brandt will perform a monologue that world-renown playwrights Edward Albee and Tony Kushner critiqued at a workshop in Alaska last summer. Leuzzi will be reading new poems that have been written since the publication of his first book, "Tongue-Tied and Singing," last Spring.

Brandt oversees (with Leuzzi’s assistance) a campus-wide drama initiative called “The Sixth Act.” This will be Leuzzi’s first Skunk Hour reading since he stopped co-coordinating Skunk Hour two years ago.
