Please note that there are new over-the-counter rules for Flexible Spending for 2011 that you should know before you sign up during open enrollment next month. Many over-the-counter items will no longer qualify for Flexible Spending reimbursement. Please go to the MCC website under online forms and documents, Human Resources, to get information about the new rules and a new listing of items that qualify in 2011 under Flexible Spending regulations.
Also, now is the time to check your Flexible Spending Account balance, and make sure you spend down what you have left in your account for 2010 so you don’t lose that money. To check this go to "https://www.myebsaccount.com".
