The Sociology Film Series at Damon presents its second film for the Spring 2005 semester, the HBO film Iron Jawed Angels. It stars Hilary Swank as a brave and passionate Women's Suffrage activist who fought and risked so much to secure the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Please join in viewing this film and in discussing its sociological, historical and political relevance. Faculty, please encourage student attendance!
