Leadership Rochester Explores MCC’s Role in Economic Development


On Friday, 40 Leadership Rochester participants spent the day at the Applied Technologies Center learning about how MCC supports regional economic development.

Special thanks to Trustee Grace Tillinghast for participating in an entrepreneurs’ panel. Thanks also to President Anne Kress and Vice President Todd Oldham for welcoming the group, and to Bob Lasch, Dale Pearce, and Juanita Leone for leading tours and making everyone feel welcome.

Rochester Business Alliance President and CEO Bob Duffy ‘ 88 and Greater Rochester Enterprise President & CEO Mark Petersen confirmed the importance of MCC to our community and how our Applied Technologies Center and Career Technical Education programs are helping to transform our economy.

Leadership Rochester alumni Holly Wheeler, Eric Wheeler and Rosanna Yule helped organize the event.
