Lot A - Information

Beginning Monday, February 16, 2015 the gate to Lot A (employee lot) will be in the down position.

Employees who park in Lot A should verify that their license plate(s) is correct on their “myMCC account” to ensure smooth entry into the new gated lot.  Employees may register more than one vehicle and there is no extra charge for registering multiple vehicles. Once registered in the new system, you may remove the obsolete white parking sticker from your vehicle if you have one.

Access to gated employees lots will be activated by a camera scanning the license plate.

Once implemented there will be no need for your ID for access to the gate system.  However, ID access will still be active.  Your parking registration will allow you to access the gated employee parking lots A, K, and P.

There are two options available for verification:

Bring the registration(s) of the vehicle(s) to Parking Services for verification or updating along with your ID or
online by following the instructions below:

- Sign into your “myMCC” account with your “M” number and password
- SELECT: BANNER tab
- SELECT: BANNER Self-service
- SELECT: EMPLOYEE tab
- SELECT:  My Parking Account
You will be prompted for a term (semester).  Select the current term.
- SELECT:  VEHICLE REGISTRATION

If your vehicle license plate is not listed, click on the drop down menu and follow the prompts to add a vehicle.  After adding your vehicle information, click ADD VEHICLE.

IMPORTANT:  The vehicle information you just added will display at the top of the page in chart format.  The first column is labeled SELECT.  Please click on the empty box in this column which corresponds to the vehicle you just entered.

- SELECT: REQUEST PARKING

NOTE:  To inactivate a vehicle, you must contact Parking Services either in person or via email.

Parking Services is located in Building 7, Room 341.  You may contact a customer service assistant by calling 585-292-2700.  Our website may be found at:<https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/parking/>

PLEASE NOTE: Since September 1, 2013 parking enforcement has been conducted through the LPR.  It is extremely important to make sure that the accurate license plate(s) are listed on your “My Parking Account”.  The MCC parking sticker (permit) is no longer valid and does not need to be displayed on vehicle.  Your license plate will serve as your “permit”.
