Riding off into the Sunset (Crater)

Sunset Crater, formed less than a thousand years ago (between 1040 and 1100), is a friendly little volcano - the kind to have in your back yard.  Have a look: https://www.nps.gov/sucr/index.htm .  Small enough to climb, yet not likely to go off again while you're mowing the lawn, or playing with the dogs.

Not everyone's lucky enough to have their own personal volcano, and so why not visit one?  As good fortune would have it, in July, this will be the third stop in field portion of GEO 195!
