MCC Fine Arts student Alyssa Philips provides official courtroom sketch coverage for Federal Court Trial
Three weeks ago on Thursday, Kevin Doran, from WROC Chanel 8 News, recommended MCC Fine Arts student Alyssa Philips to his Executive Producer Wendy Halik to act as official courtroom sketch artist at Rochester's Downtown State Street Courtroom for the trial of Mufid Elfgeeh, the man accused of aiding ISIS. Alyssa's three sketches for this Federal Court Trial was televised on the local news. Alyssa's three sketches were then sold to multiple television stations and appeared nationally on other network news shows as well.
