The MCC Board of Trustees met in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton Campus on Monday, February 1, 2016 and took the following actions:

1.            Accepted the Interim Financial Reports as of November 30 and December 31, 2015.

2.            Authorized the purchase of items over $20,000 as listed for the months of November and December, 2015.

3.            Authorized the transfer of funds totaling $45,000.

4.            Approved the annual audit of Monroe Community College for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2015, as conducted by Bonadio & Co., LLP.

5.            Approved the settlement agreement between Monroe Community College and the Faculty Association, as agreed to on December 8, 2015 and ratified by the Faculty Association on December 21, 2015.

6.            Conducted an Executive Session pursuant to Public Officers Law §105, subsection (e): collective negotiations pursuant to Article 14 of the Civil Service Law. (f): the medical, financial, credit or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular person or corporation.

1.      MCC Acceptable Use of College Technology Policy (Attached);

2.      Drug-Free Workplace Policy (Attached);

3.      Drug and Alcohol Prevention Policy (Attached);

4.      Cyber Security Awareness and Education Policy (Attached).

The Board heard presentations from Bonadio & Co. regarding the College’s annual audit and Jeremy Wolk, chair of the MCC Foundation Board of Directors, regarding Foundation activities.

Prior to the Board meeting, in a workshop, President Kress presented information on enrollment and finances.
