Celtic Society Screens "Stone of Destiny" Tonight

Tonight at 6 p.m. in 12-113, join MCC’s Celtic Society and Craig Barclay of Rochester's Scottish Heritage Society for a screening and discussion of STONE OF DESTINY.

In 1297, the English army took the Scottish national symbol, the Stone of Destiny, and brought it to London.  Just over 650 years later, Scottish university students set off to get it back. STONE OF DESTINY recounts their adventure.

Following the screening, Celtic Society members will lead discussion and help put the film into historical perspective. Please join us for what will be an entertaining, informative, and FREE event.

Final 2011-2012 Celtic Film Night: 8 May, 6 p.m. in 12-113, a screening and discussion of THE WAY (Galicia)
