Our hearts were saddened to learn of the passing of Anthony Leslie on October 24, 2021 at the age of 69. Mr. Leslie retired from MCC's Facilities Department in 2013 having served most recently as an electrician.

According to his obituary, Mr. Leslie will lie in state this evening, November 5 at The Ark of Jesus Ministries, 1000 N. Winton Road. A celebration of his life is planned for noon tomorrow, November 6 also at The Ark of Jesus Ministries. (Masks are required.)

An East High School graduate, Mr. Leslie worked for Bauch & Lomb for nine years and joined the U.S. Army Reserve where he served as a wheel vehicle mechanic. He also worked for Bond Clothing Company in Rochester as a building mechanic.

Mr. Leslie began his MCC career in 1981 as a heavy laborer and was soonafter promoted to maintenance mechanic I and II within the Facilities Department where his dependability, problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills were admired and valued. Colleagues remember Mr. Leslie for his big smile, strong faith, service as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve, and craftsmanship.

MCC is grateful for Mr. Leslie's dedication and service for nearly 33 years. He will be dearly missed by friends and colleagues.
