MCC has received funding from the Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley for a new collaboration with Catholic Family Center (CFC) to provide services for working women to enhance their educational and economic potential! We have completed our first semester of the program and are ready to recruit more participants!
DCC Student Services is accepting students into this program for Summer and Fall 2007 semesters; participants will enroll in CDL 101, Career and Life Planning for Returning Adult Students, taught at DCC. For the Summer session, CDL 101 will be offered July 10-August 9, 2007 from 12:00 noon-2:00 pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. For the Fall session, CDL 101 will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-1:50 pm.
Students will also receive mentoring, individual counseling and goal-setting sessions, and the opportunity to participate in additional programs and services offered by MCC and CFC.
Interested students should call DCC Student Services at 262-1753 and request an intake interview with Corinne Mulhall to determine if they are eligible to participate in the program.
