Please let your students know that the deadline to join the Model United Nations program/class is Oct. 17. The Campus Center Office is finalizing applications for this year. If one of your students is interested in being part of this year’s team, please encourage them to fill out an application and submit it as soon as possible. Without applying, he or she will miss the opportunity to:
* To earn 4 credit hours (Political Science or General Elective)
* Role play as a real UN diplomat
* Be a part of a award winning team
* Travel to New York City and debate as a diplomat for one week (all expenses paid for)
* Participate and debate along with 4,000 other students from all over the world
* Have the privilege of being one of several junior colleges and major universities at the most honored conference in the world (The National Collegiate Conference)
The conference is from April 6-12th in New York City Marriott Marquis Hotel
The course starts in the Spring Semester, however, the team is selected during fall semester. The application deadline is October 17th. Apply Now!
