Educational Technology Services (ETS) and Purchasing have worked together to select equipment to replace 23 multifunction copier/printers across the campus. This includes the current Xerox WCP65 units located in the Damon Campus copy center and the Brighton Campus copy centers in Buildings 5 and 8.
We have narrowed the list down to two manufactures: Xerox and Konica/Minolta.
Both vendors have been invited to bring several of their units to campus next week for testing and evaluation by ETS. As the ultimate end-user of the equipment, feedback from faculty and staff is an important component of this process as well. Please drop by the Forum during our open house to experience the equipment on your own. Vendor representatives will be available to demonstrate and answer questions.
Each vendor will showcase equipment that can handle 32 pages per minute and a larger unit capable of handling 90 pages per minute.
