MCC Wins National Marketing Awards

MCC’s High School Marketing Campaign won the prestigious Gold Paragon Award in the category of “Successful Marketing Recruitment Campaigns” at the recent national conference of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR).

The campaign, “How Does a College That’s So Close Let You See So Far?” was developed by the Marketing Communications Department, Admissions Office, and the College’s advertising agency, Buck & Pulleyn.  The campaign included television, radio, cinema, print advertising, and direct marketing, as well as innovative Admissions Office programming such as “College 101 for Parents.”

The College also received a Silver Paragon Award for the Summer Sessions radio commercial, “Longer Days, Shorter Sessions.”

The National Council for Marketing & Public Relations is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community, technical and junior colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR today has more than 1,550 members representing more than 600 colleges across the United States, England, Scotland, Canada, and the Bahamas.
