The Teaching and Creativity Center (TCC) Presents A Panel Discussion: "The Reality of Today's High School Teachers and Counselors"

When:          Wednesday, April 4th from 3-4:30 pm

The TCC has invited a panel of teachers and counselors from area high schools to share their perceptions regarding the day to day experiences of high school students and any noteworthy trends the panel members have observed over the years.  Questions from the audience will follow the panel discussion.  Issues addressed may include: 

How are students prepared for college? 
What are the challenges that teachers face with regard to curriculum restrictions? (i.e. building/department, district, or SUNY)

What are the challenges in the high school classroom?
What changes have you seen in the ability of your students to think critically and take tests?
What do you hear about MCC?  What can MCC do better?
