Faculty Advising Examined
May 5, from 3 - 5 p.m.
Forum, 3-130

Dr. Frank Wilbur, associate vice president and director of Center for Support of Teaching and Learning at Syracuse University, will be speaking with us about advising expectations and training, rewards and recognition for quality advising, and strategies for quality academic advisement that work at other community colleges.

Dr. Wilber’s chapter, “Outstanding Faculty Advising Programs: Strategies that Work,” is one in a collection of essays in the recent publication: Faculty Advising Examined: Enhancing the Potential of College Faculty as Advisors.

We will be in touch with additional information in the near future. For now… mark your calendars.
