At the June 4, 2012 Board of Trustees meeting, the appointments of two additional positions were approved for the Economic Development and Innovative Workforce Services Division. Elaine Lyons, Corporate Relations Manager, Office of Workforce Development, and Kristin Sine-Kinz, Marketing Communications Manager, joined MCC in May.
Elaine’s extensive experience developing business affiliations will help her at MCC acquire and develop new customer/client relationships within the Greater Rochester business community for the purpose of providing contract training and education. She worked at Citizens Bank and JPMorgan Chase Bank for 16 years in Rochester in various roles of commercial banking, including relationship management, direct sales management, and credit audit. She also worked for the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida, in recruiting and food and beverage management. In addition to earning her M.B.A. and B.S., Elaine has also completed graduate work at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
Kristin, who holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design, is a strategic marketing professional with 15 years of experience. Prior to joining MCC, she worked as a marketer at Harter Secrest & Emery LLP. She has expertise in integrated marketing, direct response, web development, email marketing and customer service. Kristin has spent much of her career working in advertising/marketing firms. In her previous role at Eric Mower and Associates, her primary responsibility was to support seven offices by identifying direct marketing opportunities, and developing and executing strategies as appropriate. Kristin also has experience with customer relationship management techniques. A few years ago, she was a session presenter at a Direct Marketing Association National Business-to-Business Conference.
