We learned late Tuesday of the passing of Dr. Lewis Lansky, professor emeritus of history, and a founding MCC faculty member. Since graveside services will take place Thursday, February 18 at 10:30 am at Riverside Cemetery and the Shiva will take place Thursday evening from 4:30 to 8:00 pm at Chabad Lubavitch of Rochester, 1037 Winton Road South, we wanted to get this news to you as soon as possible.
The College's closing yesterday prevented us from gathering details on Dr. Lansky's long history with MCC. We will do so today and prepare a fuller tribute to Dr. Lansky for a subsequent MCC Daily Tribune.
