Oct 4th James Baldwin Reading and Discussion Group

The second James Baldwin Reading and Discussion group hosted by Rochester AmeriCorps and facilitated by Professor Tokeya Graham will be on Tuesday, October 4th. Please join us for a discussion aimed to provide citizens throughout New York State the opportunity to engage in substantive conversations about race and American society through Baldwin's writings.

The discussion will be held in the Community Room at the Damon City Campus, room 4193, from 6:00pm- 7:30pm. Feel free to come at 5:30pm for a half hour of quiet reading of the assigned Baldwin excerpts. We will have copies of the readings available and they are also attached so you can read them in advance.

Light snacks will be provided but please bring your own drinks if needed. You are welcome to attend one or all of the sessions. Attached is the full schedule, please mark your calendars accordingly and hopefully we will see you there!
