McConkey presents to Human Services class

Dianne E McConkey, college relations specialist, College and Community Relations, gave a College and Community Relations Primer to students in Associate Professor Paula Fahy’s Human Services’ 202 class. Small non-profit human service organizations often don’t have the financial resources for professionals dedicated solely to public relations and marketing, so the responsibility falls to directors and staff. The primer helped students better understand the types of external and internal communications and their importance to the organization.

Dianne handles media and other communications’ efforts for academic programs and student services on the Damon City Campus, for the Division of Technical Education, and for the Campus Center on the Brighton Campus.
