Article Highlights MCC Efforts in Addressing Workforce Skill Gaps
The Aug. 24 issue of the Rochester Business Journal contains an article about what area community colleges -- including MCC -- are doing to bridge the skills gap and increase the pool of qualified workers.
Vice President Oldham was interviewed for the article about MCC's big data collection efforts and community collaborations to better understand the skills gap and to better respond to employers' workforce demands.
He cited examples of different training models in operation at MCC, including the accelerated precision tooling certificate program.
